Some Maximal writings deciphered from “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” (spoilers)

WARNING: THERE ARE SPOILERS TO TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS IN THIS ARTICLE

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiered this weekend, and it uses quite a few elements from the Beast Wars cartoon. In some ways they paid extra attention to the details of that show.
It appears that some of the Maximal writings in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts actually say things in English, just as they did in the Beast Wars television series. In the original Beast Wars and Beast Machines series the Maximals and Predacons each had their own set of letters and numbers, called Cybertronix.
Each character corresponded to a letter or number in English (A-Z and 1-20).

Using the Maximal Cybertronix that were deciphered by the AUG’s Whirlwind and Jim Sorenson, I have managed to decipher the inscriptions on the Transwarp Key pieces. Below I will present to you what I have found so far.

The first piece of the key has the word “DOOR” displayed when Elena looks at it under a magnifying glass.

Later, when the second piece of the Transwarp Key is presented, it is mirrored, and when it is reflected it reads “HE WHO OPENS THE DOOR”, which would possibly be a match to the earlier script that Elena viewed that had the word “DOOR” in it, facing the right way.

Then, later, when Noah is preparing to destroy the second piece, you can decipher the upside-down inscription as “KEEPER OF THE KEYS”. So, either the pieces of the Transwarp Key have the same message twice, with one side mirrored, or the first piece of the Key was used as a stand in for the second at its presentation. So, it was either deliberately mirrored, or the wrong prop was used when the revealed the second piece.

Later, when Elena shows Optimus Primal the Kill Code she has assembled in her notes, the Kill Code is “XQB”.

A part I have not been able to decipher, as it doesn’t translate to anything obviously discernable is the inscription inside the Peruvian Temple, where the second piece of the Transwarp Key was supposed to rest. It may be some sort of cipher, or it could be just random gibberish. If I find out, I’ll post about it here.
As of now it deciphers as “12 CDJWT BWYS 18 EFX”.

If you have any clues or found any more inscriptions to be deciphered, let me know by posting either to our Discord server or our Facebook page. Thanks!
