The Hasbro Pulse website says the following about this project:

“From the abyssal darkness of the Death Zone, the elite combat team known as the Chest-force emerged. Consisting of six powerful Decepticon bots—Leozak, Gaihawk, Ellbat, Jaruga, Killbison, and Drillhorn—the Chest-force is determined to aid Deathsaurus in his bid to defeat Star Saber and the Autobots. The Chest-force comes together to form the gestalt Liokaiser, a vicious combiner bot with the power of invisibility.

Devoted fans banded together to fund Victory Saber and Deathsaurus figures* through previous HasLab projects; now, the saga of Transformers: Victory, the Japanese anime G1 spinoff, continues: Powerful, merciless, and near-unstoppable, the Liokaiser Combiner is the next HasLab project.

  • Premium 12-inch Liokaiser combiner figure inspired by the Japanese anime, Transformers: Victory.
  • Separates into 6 Voyager-scale, 5.5-inch (14 cm) converting Chest-force figures, each with a removable Chest Animal that converts into a weapon accessory
  • Initial offering includes six 5.5-inch figures and 6 accessories.

This crowdfunded project will run from February 7, 2025 to 11:59PM ET on March 24, 2025. We need 10,000 backers to fund the initial offering. If successful, the product is estimated to begin shipping in Fall 2026.

HasLab products have a surcharge to cover shipping costs. For the Transformers Legacy HasLab Liokaiser Combiner campaign, you’ll see a $15.99 surcharge when you check out, based on shipping destination. This is waived for Hasbro Pulse Premium members.

“LIOKAISER: CHEST-FORCE COMBINER

We heard fans loud and clear: Liokaiser was a top choice for our next Haslab. The G1 Liokaiser was a Japanese exclusive that was highly sought-after; we decided it was high time we brought it back around with animation-accurate deco and sculpt. In his combined form, our HasLab Liokaiser figure stands at an impressive 12 inches tall, to scale with the prior HasLab Deathsaurus and Victory Saber figures. The figure features over 20 points of articulation for creating epic battle stances and iconic poses from the anime.

LEOZAK: THE COMMANDER
(HEAD AND UPPER TORSO OF LIOKAISER)

Commander of the Chest-force, Leozak may have his own motives (namely: becoming the leader of all Decepticons) but his skill and smarts make him invaluable to Deathsaurus.

Alt mode: JET

Chest Animal: LION

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: HEAD AND UPPER TORSO

GAIHAWK: THE DESTROYER
(RIGHT ARM OF LIOKAISER)

Cold-hearted and aggressive, Gaihawk cares little for the welfare of others—especially those who stand in the way of victory. Speedier than even Leozak, Gaihawk gives a whole new meaning to “right hand man.”

Alt mode: JET

Chest Animal: HAWK

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: RIGHT ARM

ELLBAT: THE SPY
(LEFT ARM OF LIOKAISER)

Famously underhanded, Ellbat is a sneak with a silver tongue. He believes he’d be a better Chest-force leader than Leozak, but his tendency to pass blame hasn’t earned him any supporters—yet.

Alt mode: JET

Chest animal: BAT

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: LEFT ARM

JARUGA: THE SOLDIER
(LOWER TORSO OF LIOKAISER)

Loyal, determined, and diligent in his pursuit of Autobot destruction, Jaruga may not be the brightest or most self-motivated member of the team, but you can’t fault a guy for being good at following orders, can you?

Alt mode: OFFROAD RACECAR

Chest animal: JAGUAR

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: LOWER TORSO

KILLBISON: THE WARMONGER
(RIGHT LEG OF LIOKAISER)

There’s nothing Killbison loves more than a good battle (except, maybe, a good victory). Attacking, storming, assailing, invading—Killbison is in, and will (probably) do a bang-up job.

Alt mode: TANK

Chest animal: BULL

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: RIGHT LEG

DRILLHORN: THE STRATEGIST
(LEFT LEG OF LIOKAISER)

Battle-hardened and stubborn, Drillhorn prides himself on knowing the ins and outs of combat. His veteran knowledge mostly serves him well—but sometimes his overreliance on it can make him as much of a liability as an asset.

Alt mode: DRILL TANK

Chest animal: RHINO

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: LEFT LEG

A GESTALT WEAPON FOR THE DECEPTICONS

Designed with intricate details for fans of the Japanese animated series, the base offering will make a truly awesome addition to any collection. But with extra backer power, we can unlock additional pieces that will really take the offering to the next level.

Tier 1: Deathcobra

Tier 2: Electromagnetic Nunchaku

Tier 3: Display bases

TIER 1 UNLOCK – 13,000 BACKERS: DEATHCOBRA

Ah, poor Deathcobra. Tapped by Leozak to replace the treacherous Ellbat as the sixth member of the Chest-force, Deathcobra was killed by Ellbat (er—by the Micromasters! That’s right, Holi did it!) to prevent Deathcobra from taking Ellbat’s place in the Chest-force.

13,000 backers will unlock the almost-member of the Chest-force team in all his detailed glory—the first time he’s ever appeared in a toy. Deathcobra figure can become an alternate left arm for Liokaiser (take that, Ellbat!) or a true 7th team member as a shoulder cannon weapon.

Alt mode: HELICOPTER

Chest animal: COBRA

Chest animal alt mode: BLASTER

Liokaiser combiner role: LEFT ARM OR SHOULDER CANNON

TIER 2 UNLOCK – 16,000 BACKERS: ELECTROMAGNETIC NUNCHAKU

Whether used as spears, tasers, or nunchaku, Electromagnetic Nunchaku are versatile weapons employed by the Chest-force in countless battles against the Autobots. When the team members combine into Liokaiser, their Electromagnetic Nunchaku combine too, creating an even more powerful weapon.

16,000 backers will unlock a set of 6 Electromagnetic Nunchaku spear accessories that the Chest-force figures can hold. The spears can be combined to create a larger weapon for the Liokaiser figure to wield.

TIER 3 UNLOCK – 18,000 BACKERS: DISPLAY BASES

We know you want to show off your figures in all their epic poses, so with 18,000 backers, we will also be able to include 3 display bases. Use the bases to display the jets and recreate the iconic intro shot from the anime. Merge the bases together to create a grandiose support platform for Liokaiser. Bonus: store extra pieces inside the bases to keep your collection looking neat and tidy.”
