An eBay seller from Singapore has posted images of what appears to be the highly anticipated Transformers Studio Series 86 Megatron action figure. The images show how Hasbro/Takara have sidestepped the issue of faithfully representing the character as depicted in the 1986 animated movie, while retaining a conversion that does not turn into a gun. A small gun accessory is included that resembles Megatron’s Sunbow alternate mode that other SS86 figures can wield, while the main robot converts into a tank. Previous attempts to make a G1 Megatron that turns into a tank usually ended up with a backpack as well as accessories nade up of tank parts, but this version hides the tank pieces very well.
